The Absolute Best Songs to Walk Down the Aisle To

Some classic favourites and ones you may not have thought of 🎶

How important to you is it that everyone is a crying mess as you walk down the aisle? Or at least your other half? The key to push people over the edge is to get the RIGHT song and you won’t have a dry eye in the room. WE WANT TEARS PEOPLE. In seriousness, though, the song you walk down the aisle to is probably the biggest song choice of your whole day, so getting it right is a must.

There has always been one or the other at every wedding I have filmed - a song that is really emotional or one with humour behind it. For example, Christina Perri’s A Thousand Years has been a popular tear jerker since its release - the emotional choice. Then you have the couples that want to go in the opposite direction whilst it still being cute, one example I can remember and absolutely LOVED was Casey and Jamie’s choice of Hello Sunshine by Super Furry Animals:

“I’m a minger, you’re a minger too. So come on minger, I want to ming with you”

I always think the best choice for any entrance is a song that means something to you and your partner. But if you’re looking for some inspiration here is a list of songs for you to listen through. Check it out on Spotify here 😊I’m always adding songs to my playlists, so there will be even more on there!
