Warwickshire Videographer

Hey!

I’m Emma - the person behind the camera at Daydream Films. I started my little film company back in 2018 when a family friend asked if I could film their wedding. I had just graduated from a Film Degree at the University of Warwick and had a good camera, so I thought sure, let’s do it. Little did I know that I would fall in love with filming weddings right there and then!

My style is natural and emotive (my aim is to make you cry happy tears when you watch your film), with a fly on the wall, documentary style approach to filming. Being a big film buff, I do love to make my films feel cinematic through my editing, choice of shots and music!

Things to watch out for: I love an animal and will always try to sneak an animal in your film… Alpaca farm next to your venue? You will be getting an alpaca in your film. A family cat or dog at bridal prep? Ya guessed it! It’s going in. Otherwise, I promise to exclusively put in shots of your loved ones having the best time at your wedding!

FAQs: You’ve got questions, I’ve got answers!

Who are you?

My name's Emma, hello! I am a wedding videographer and lifestyle/family photographer!

Where are you based?

I am based in Leamington Spa, but I am more than happy to travel anywhere and everywhere! UK travel costs are covered in my packages!

Do you require a deposit?

Yep! Like most suppliers I require a deposit to secure your wedding date. For me, it is 25% of your final package price, along with a signed digital contract which is super easy to fill in! The rest of the balance is payable up until 2 weeks before the wedding.

What can we expect on our wedding day?

I aim to be as discreet as possible whilst filming, but I also love a good chat with anyone who wants one (often a hit with oldest and youngest guests). My style is capturing natural moments of love and happiness on your day, so you get to see moments you never want to forget and moments you can’t even remember happening.

Do we get to meet you before our wedding day?

If you fancy a chat beforehand, we absolutely can meet - whether that be digitally or in person. If you live outside of Warwickshire, it will most probably have to be digitally, though.

How long will it take for you to deliver our films?

I take my time to make sure your film is as perfect as possible. During the quieter season, I can have all of your films edited within 6 weeks. Peak wedding season (normally May - September), your films will be with you within 12 weeks.

Can I pick my own music?

Yes and no. The main film I edit will use music I have the license to use. I try and fit the music I choose to the vibe of your wedding, but it is usually a romantic-folky song. But I also create a second private version, which you can have your choice of songs on.

How do we get our films?

I upload your films to YouTube on a private link first, then once you’ve seen it and gave me the ok, I make it public. You will also get a link to a private Google Drive where you can download all of your films too. If you pick the Magnolia package, your films will also be delivered on a USB in an engraved wooden presentation box (this can also be purchased separately if you book a different package!

Do we need to feed you?

You don’t have to feed me. It’s up to you honestly. Just let me know before the day so I can pack a lunch!

How long will you be with us for?

I tend to arrive 2-3 hours before the ceremony start time, then I am with you up until after the first dance - depending on the package you have booked, this can be up to an hour after. If you want me to stay longer - just let me know and we can work it out!

How do I book?

Send me a message with your requirements and we'll take it from there! We can either meet, have a phone, or video call or just chat over email! If we're the right fit for each other, great! I'll book you in.

How much do you charge?

Packages are available to suit a range of requirements and therefore my prices are tailored to your individual needs. These can be seen here

How do I contact you?

Easy! Simply click here to fill in the contact form or email

contact@daydream-films.co.uk with what you want me to film, the location and the date! Or we can arrange to meet to discuss your vision further.

Are you on Companies House?/Are you a limited company?

This isn’t a FAQ, but just a little info for anyone looking to book with me. I originally thought I needed to be a LTD company so I signed up to be registered as a LTD company on Companies House. I then realised that operating as a sole trader was best for me, so I removed my company from Companies House. Daydream Films and Photography is very much here to stay!

What cameras do you use?

I am a Sony shooter with a mixture of Sony and Sigma Art lenses.
