Will My 2021 Wedding go Ahead as Originally Planned?

So I did a long blog post about the best father-daughter dance songs, thought I’d published it and closed the browser. I had not posted it, nor saved it, so it all disappeared and I honestly could not bring myself to type it all out again so soon, but I will, I promise!

Will my 2021 wedding go ahead as originally planned? There’s no crystal clear answer but things are definitely looking up! If Boris is right weddings after Easter should be able to go ahead to somewhat normal capacity. Or at least, more than the current 15 person limit. I think whilst being optimistic is great, having a contingency plan for reduced numbers into 2021 would be a good idea. E.g. your wedding if it was to go ahead as normal pre-COVID19, a 30-50 person limit and just in case, a 15 person limit. Your contingency plan doesn’t have to be ‘go ahead whatever the limit’, it could be let’s rearrange for late 2021, or 2022. Although, it may be best to look into and research what couples have gone through this year in terms of cancelling and postponing, before making that decision.

Make sure to check for any updates from the government AND your local council, as well as whoever will be performing your legal ceremony, as tiers may still be in place. The best thing you can do is be as informed as possible.

As for Daydream Films, 2021 is looking very busy for me and I honestly cannot wait to get back into filming weddings. I still have a few dates left, so if you want to have a chat about me filming your wedding feel free to contact me here or here.😊

My fingers and every limb possible is crossed for everyone planning to get married and also for all of my colleagues in the wedding industry. Support each other and be kind, love and kindness will prevail!
