History of Pendrell Hall
Pendrell Hall, located in Wolverhampton, is a beautiful Victorian country house with a rich history that dates back to the 19th century. The property was originally built in 1870 by the Bromley Davenport family, who were prominent landowners in the area. They commissioned architect Edward Haycock to design the house, which was built in the Jacobean style with stunning features such as ornate gables, mullioned windows, and a grand entrance hall.
Over the years, the house passed through several owners before it was purchased in 1922 by Colonel Robert Hunt, who served in the British Army during World War I. Hunt made several modifications to the house, including the addition of a ballroom and a billiard room. During World War II, the house was requisitioned by the War Office and was used as a training center for soldiers.
After the war, the house was converted into a school and was known as St. Mary's Hall. It remained a school until the 1990s when it was purchased by a private owner who restored the house to its former glory. In 2005, the current owners purchased the property and transformed it into a luxurious wedding venue.
Today, Pendrell Hall is a popular wedding venue that offers exclusive use of the property to couples looking for a stunning countryside setting for their special day. The house and grounds have been lovingly restored and feature a perfect blend of original features and modern amenities. From the grand staircase to the sunken garden and the ancient woodland, the venue offers breathtaking photo opportunities and a range of luxurious accommodations for guests.

Pendrell Hall Wedding Film
Take a look below at one of the weddings I have filmed at Pendrell Hall. It shows various beautiful rooms in the venue and the beautiful gardens that surround it.
Eleanor and Martyn got married on what should have been a bitterly cold February morning, and yet Pendrell Hall managed to bask in warmth and provide them the perfect day.
